Hair Extension Hair Types

We offer the highest quality hair for your hair extension fitting with a choice of types to suit everyone.

Which hair type is best for me?

silky-weft-round Hair from different races has different qualities. It is not as simple as saying one is the best and the others are not so good. Some are a better match for our soft European hair, Chinese being too coarse for example, but otherwise it can be personal choice. Some clients may find the extreme softness of Russian hair is not a good match for their own which may have much more body or may be coarser.

So it really comes down to this…….how soft and silky do you want it to feel, of course, but also HOW LONG DO YOU WANT IT TO LAST?

Using our silky and high quality Indian Remy hair with the microweft method you can get a high quality fitting at a budget price lasting up to 6 months, or even 9 months, with good aftercare ( See details for six month fitting above). If preferred this method of hair extension fitting is very quick and low cost to remove so you can wear it for a short period and then have them removed, keeping the hair for another occasion when they can be replaced, again at a low cost.

What does Remy or cuticle correct mean?

cuticle-rounded To clear up the confusion about remy hair….it is not a hair type or brand. Each hair has cuticles that stick downwards when it is growing on our head. Hair that is remy is kept with all the ends still together and all the tips still together just as it grows on the head. If these were mixed up with some tips next to some ends then the cuticles on the hair would be pointing in different directions and would tangle and matt together. It is crucial, therefore, to use only Remy hair.

All of our hair is Remy.

Do not be misled by hair described as ‘cuticle corrected’. This has had the cuticles stripped by harsh chemicals. Although the cuticles can no longer cause tangling and matting it is so damaged that the quality and wear is poor.

And remember, cheap hair is cheap for a reason. It is either manufactured cheaply by cutting corners and using harsh chemicals to cut costs or it is hair of poor quality for one reason or another.

If it’s cheap don’t use it.
